My Roots: Scientific Background & Industrial R&D
My professional journey began with an MSc in Technical Chemistry at Graz University of Technology, where I gained a deep understanding of scientific processes and innovation. I further strengthened this foundation over more than 11 years as a project manager in industrial R&D at RHI Magnesita, a global market leader in the refractory industry.
In this role, I was responsible for complex research and innovation projects, acting as a key interface between scientific development, industrial implementation, and strategic objectives. This experience provided me with comprehensive insights into applied research environments and the practical realities of transferring scientific ideas into industrial solutions.
Expertise In Scientific Funding Applications
Since 2024, I have been fully dedicated to the development of scientific funding proposals. My expertise includes the preparation of EU Horizon Europe proposals as well as applications for national funding programmes.
